Thursday is my Friday

At least this week. I took tomorrow off from work. My first official vacation day at work since I started. We were gonna go to Lake Tahoe but that didn't work out so much. So now we are gonna take the kids to the Six Flags that is near us, stay the night and then go see an Oakland A's game on Saturday. The kids get a free bat and ball on Saturday. I have a feeling that we are gonna have to take Jeffrey's bat away at the game. No he isn't gonna go around beating people up. LOL He has this habit of copying every ball players swing while they are up to bat. The kid sits in front of the TV constantly trying to catch every possible baseball game that is on. He always has SOMETHING in his hands as a pretend bat. A remote control, his Star Wars Light Saber, his sisters baton. You get the idea. I am waiting for one day to come home and see a hole in the front of the TV. He has had a few times when he lost his "bat" and it has gone flying into the screen. LOL It's funny to watch your kids become so obsessed about something. Well at least something as American as Apple Pie. Have a great weekend everyone! I can't concentrate on work!

Really I am sitting here thinking of only one thing. When can I get back to my book. So most of you have had to have heard of the Twilight Series. If not, what rock are you living under?? Ok I already read all 3 books. I have preordered #4 and patiently waiting the 10 days before it shows up in my mailbox. And NOW I am re-reading all 3 before Breaking Dawn gets here. I was obsessed the first time I read them and now second time around I think it is worse. How is that? I have never re-read a book in my life. Ok maybe once or twice but I could not tell you what they were. And to top it off they released a new trailer to the movie that is coming out in December. Ok sorry for the rant. I'm obsessed, I cannot help it. And I know you are too! :)

A little scrappy time

So I have gotten a little scrappy time in the last few weeks. I want to show you a clipboard I made for my friend Kelly. It was for her Birthday. She got it about two weeks late but I don't think she minded so much LOL.

Not in the mood

Well I am sorry for procrastinating on keep things updated around here. I have completed a couple projects recently but have been so busy I have not had a chance to post them. I have been busy trying to keep track of my favorite blogs. I have been reading them all just too tired to post a comment. I am so very sorry for that. Please forgive me. Been very excited with all the sneak peaks that I have seen. I so wish I could be at CHA so I could drool over all the new products. Been busy finding sponsors forhttp://www.cropaddict.com I am very excited about who I have lined up so far. So stay posted.

Well I am gonna end things here for now. I have not forgot about my blog just been dealing with other things. I sprained my lower back on Sunday so sitting in one place for very long is not happening. I hope you all are having a wonderful week.

Making up for lost time

Well since I was such a bad blogger this month I figure I will post twice today LOL. Here is the other project that I completed this month. I created a mini book for my Best Friend Stephanie's 30th birthday. It had pages for people to send her birthday wishes. The front says Sweet 3oth because she said she wanted a sweet 30th since she did not have a sweet 16. I think maybe she has been watching too much MTV LOL.

How embarassing!

Three Weeks!!! That's how long I have neglected my poor blog. Bad blogger, bad bad blogger! So Sorry. June just exploded on me I guess. Well here we are at July (almost) and hopefully things will slow down. I only have 2 more weeks on probation at work. Yay! Can you believe I have been back to work for 6 months already? I guess I can't complain about my job because the time has really flown by.

So I guess I have lots to share since I have been so lax with the updates. Lets see first off, Jeff and I are gonna be taking a mini- vacation in September to celebrate our 9th anniversary. We are headed to Los Angeles to see a Nascar race ( yes I like Nascar), then to Disney for the day with NO KIDS! Jeff just thinks thats weird but I have always wanted to go with just him and I. Not like my kids have never been. We will probably take them again around Christmas time. Ok ok back to the trip. Then Jeff and I will be headed to Vegas for 3 days. We will actually be in Vegas on our anniversary. This will be our 3 rd anniversary trip to Vegas. The first time we went was for our 1 year anniversary and I was pregnant with Jeffrey. NOT the way to go to Vegas. LOL. So anyways I am really excited to go on vacation. It's not what I thought we would be doing this year but I am still super excited.

On to some scrappy news. I am happy to announce that I have made the Crop Addict Creative Team! I am so excited to be joining such a wonderful site.
